Spen Webster's Funeral Service Message from Joan and Family. It was so overwhelming and uplifting to see so many friends and family line the route as well as the people near our house in Snowberry, outside St Ambrose church, the Stadium and the Crematorium. It was touching to see the Boys Brigade flags outside Church and outside Spen's childhood home in Frederick St and Readers from the Deanery walking beside Spen up to the Crematorium. There were also people in their own homes watching the service online, thinking and praying for us at the same time, as well as singing 'Abide with me'. It was truly amazing and we would like to thank everyone for supporting us and surrounding us with such love which helped us so much on a difficult day. Sincere thanks to you all. Joan and family
